Women's Volleyball
Current Record: 16-2
Current Ranking: #22
They have lost two very good teams but have won all of the rest basically sweeping every game 3-0 or 3-1.They have about a month and a week left before the chamionships in December. At this rate, I'm pretty sure that they will make it to the championships. Jennifer Hamson, who played women's basketball for BYU last year and got drafted to the WNBA, is playing volleyball for her last season. Then, she will have the decision of which sport she will pursue after college.
Top Players: Jennifer Hamson, Amy Boswell, Tambre Nobles, Alexa Gray, Camry Willardson, Hannah Robison, Tia Welling
Women's Soccer
Current Record: 9-3-2(ties)

They had a rough start with new players incoming this season. They were rocky with their three losses and two tied-games at the beginning of the season, but now with a little under a month left in the regular season, They have gone undefeated after their first six games. I believe they have found ways to win and will continue doing so up to the championships in mid-November. Overall BYU has scored 29 goals compared to their opponents who have only scored 12 goals. BYU has an average of 75.1 shots per game (opponents are 8.4), a .494 percentage of shots-on-goal vs. attempts (opponents have .466), and an average goals scored per game of 2.07 (opponents are 0.86
Top Players: Ashley Hatch (11 goals), Elena Medeiros (4 goals), Niki Fernandes (3 goals), Marissa Nimmer (3 goals), Michele Murphy (3 goals), Elisabeth Phillips (2 goals), Madie Lyons (2 goals), Nadia Gomes (1 goal); GOALIES: Katherine Snyder (28 saves, 9-0-0 record)
