Midway to Heaven

Midway to Heaven

"Midway to Heaven" is a heartwarming story set in a city in Utah of a man who still hasn't gotten over his wife's passing away. Along with not being able to move on, his daughter throws a wild card at him by telling him about a guy that she really likes. He is thrown the challenge of being afraid of possibly losing his daughter. On top of all that, a beautiful woman likes him, but it is difficult for him to date her because he is not over his wife passing away.

I love this film. It shows a protective fatherly figure who faces challenges dealing with love. There is also some scenes in downtown Park City, Utah (which are beautiful). I love how the man/father is able to find peace and happiness through overcoming the challenges he has. There isn't anything I don't like about this film. I think your whole family will enjoy this film. I give it a 5-star rating. ENJOY!!!!!!

By the way, if you are searching for this film online at netflix.com, it is listed as "Heaven is Waiting".

It is rated PG for some mild thematic elements. There isn't anything listed in the Parent Advisory. The IMDB.com summary for the film is:

It has been years since Ned Stevens, a charming self-made success, lost his wife Kate to cancer. Yet he still can't let go of her memory and move forward with his life.. But when Liz brings home a new boyfriend from college -- Ned finds that his comfortable world is turned upside down as Liz tries to divert his attention to Carol, an attractive single woman who lives in Ned's neighborhood.

Additional Detail to Movie Reviews

So today I will focus on adding some additional detail to my existing movie reviews. I had a suggestion by a sister-in-law to talk a little more about what impressed me most about the movies, so I am adding that to my reviews. To find the movie review list of posts go to the top of the blog and click on "Movies I've Enjoyed" or click on this link.
